​New president, vice-president elected to CSS Board


At the Co-operative Superannuation Society (CSS) Board re-organization meeting held immediately after the CSS annual meeting on April 5, 2019, CSS directors elected Jeff Ambrose as president of the CSS Board of Directors (succeeding Al Meyer) and Shannan Corey as vice-president (succeeding Jeff Ambrose) for 2019-20.

Jeff Ambrose is the VP Operations, Petroleum, Wine Spirits Beer, Home Health Care and Cannabis for the Calgary Co-operative Association. He has served on the CSS Board as an employee director since 2012.

Shannan Corey is the Director, Total Rewards for Federated Co-operatives Limited. Shannan has served as an employer director on the CSS Board since 2016.

Congratulations to Jeff and Shannan as they continue to offer their time, leadership and skill in the service of Plan members. We also extend our thanks to Al Meyer for his service as president of the CSS Board from 2015 to 2019. Al will continue to serve as an employer director on the Board.

The CSS Pension Plan is democratically governed by the Co-operative Superannuation Society that represents employer, employee and retired members of the Plan. Through delegates, members have a voice to help shape our future and influence the direction of the Plan.
